Q. 1) Read the story with proper pronunciation and expressions. (06 Marks)

A bee once fell into a lake, death by drowning was certain. A pigeon was sitting on a tree close by. It saw the bee struggling in the water. It dropped a leaf near the bee. The bee got into the leaf. When its wings had dried, it flew away. A few days, later, a boy took aim at the same pigeon, with his sling. The saved bee happened to pass by. It saw the boy. It quickly flew to the boy and stung his hand. The boy dropped the sling with a shout of pain. The pigeon flew away to safety. The moral of this story is : one good turn deserves another.
